Photo 8,7 x 13 cm, beigelegt dem Buch mit 160 Schwarz-Weiß-Reproduktionen von Reisephotographien, die zwischen 1989 und 1993 aufgenommen und so veröffentlicht wurden, dass sie wie Photokopien aussehen, 28 x 21,6 x 2 cm. Die Original-Photokopien wurden in Wools Retrospektive im Guggenheim Museum, New York, gezeigt. Umschlag am Buchrücken minimal verblichen.
De luxe editoin: b/w photography / photo paper, out of the edition of 50 prints, here print 4/50, stamped: "Absent without Leave -Special Edition- Christopher Wool __/50." with handwritten edition number 4, photo additionally marked "Kodalux Processing Services Sept 1993" on verso. Photo 8,7 by 13 cm (3,43'' by 5,12''), enclosed in the book with 160 black and white reproductions of travel photographys taken between 1989 and 1993 and published in such a way that they look like photocopies, 28 by 21,6 by 2 cm (11,02'' by 8,50'' by 0,79''). The original photocopies were shown in Wool's retrospective at the Guggenheim Museum, New York. Cover minimally faded at the spine.
